REFUND POLICY

We hope you will love your Studio Verthandi garment. If, for any reason, it is not quite right, you may return it in accordance with the policy below.

Returns

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. Once you have notified us of your return, the garment must be sent back within a further 14 days.

To arrange a return, please contact us at hello@studioverthandi.com and we will provide you with the necessary return information.

We kindly ask that garments are returned in their original condition, with all original tags attached and in their original packaging whenever possible.

You are welcome to carefully examine and try on your garment as you would in a shop. Please take reasonable care of it while it is in your possession. Where a garment has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, and its value has been reduced as a result, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel an online purchase, we will refund the purchase price together with the cost of our standard delivery option. If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express delivery, any additional delivery cost above our standard delivery rate will not be refunded.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned garment or you have provided evidence that it has been sent back.

Once processed, please allow approximately 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your payment provider.

Return Shipping

Unless the garment is faulty or we have made an error with your order, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning their purchase.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of postage until your return has been completed.

If a garment is faulty, damaged on arrival or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us and we will arrange an appropriate solution, including applicable return costs.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every Studio Verthandi garment is carefully inspected before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or you believe your garment is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@studioverthandi.com, including your order number and photographs where helpful.

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Made-to-Order & Personalised Garments

Garments made specifically to your measurements, altered or adapted specifically at your request, or otherwise clearly personalised to your specifications may not be eligible for the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

Where this applies, it will be made clear before you place your order.

A garment is not considered made-to-order simply because it is unique, one of a kind or produced in very limited quantities.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

Exchanges

As each Studio Verthandi garment is produced in very limited quantities, we are generally unable to offer direct exchanges.

If you would prefer a different size or style, please return your original purchase in accordance with this policy and place a new order, subject to availability.

The Individual Character of Our Garments

Each Studio Verthandi garment is individually crafted from carefully sourced natural textiles.

Subtle variations in texture, weave, tone or original garment details are part of the individual character of the piece and are not considered faults. Where a garment incorporates a pre-existing textile or garment, any significant characteristics will be described or shown as clearly as reasonably possible before purchase.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a garment is faulty or does not correspond with its description.
